Facebook Fan Pages – What you can do, and what you can’t

Since we rolled out the Facebook Storefront for Fan Pages this month, we’ve had a lot of people asking us questions about what they are and aren’t allowed to say.

These questions are answered on 6.2.7 of the Amendment to the 2008 Policies & Procedures Regarding Internet Advertising and Social Media.

Rather than just pointing you to that, I thought I’d walk through these with you: (more…)

How to Set Up a Facebook Storefront

Important note: Before implementing the Facebook Storefront, you will need to choose a Start Page your Associate Web Site. To do this:

1) Log into the back office.
2) Hover “My Profile,” and select, “Manage My Web Site” from the drop down menu.
3) Look for the option, “Select your Start Page.” Choose any of the start pages in the pull down menu
EXCEPT FOR “Isagenix Home Page.”

Once you have done this, you can continue with the steps below.

Aight, ya’ll – here’s how to set up your Facebook Store, from square one.  We know this can seem pretty complicated, but it’s really not that bad.  Just follow the steps below, one by one, and you’ll be up and running in no time.

The first thing you need to do is create a fan page.  We’ve written an article on this previously – just go through the 4 steps in that post, and you’ll have a Facebook Fan page to call your own.

Introducing The Mobile Associate Retail Website

Imagine this scene: You’re at the mall, looking at clothes. Someone you don’t know is within earshot, talking to their friend about how they like a pair of pants, but they just don’t fit – and, “why can’t I drop all this weight?”

So you approach them, do your spectacular salesperson voodoo, and turn them on to the idea of Isagenix cleansing.

That’s when they ask, “How big a deal is this toxic stuff, anyway?”

Fortunately, you have the “Are you Toxic?” video up on your Associate Retail Website.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any computers around, so you have to – lamely – give them your card, with your website address on it, and tell them, “Seriously – when you get home you have got to watch this!” Which is too bad, because the iron is hot while you’re talking to them right there at the mall.

Now that doesn’t have to be the case. We have just released the Mobile Associate Retail Website, so you have the tools to attract new business wherever you are.

Important note: For the Mobile Associate Retail Website to work, you will need to choose a Start Page in the back office.

This isn’t a phone app, either – you don’t need to install anything. You can get to your Mobile Associate Retail Website. Just open up your mobile browser, and instead of typing:

http://yoursitename.isagenix.com

You change .com to .mobi:

http://yoursitename.isagenix.mobi

And presto! You’re on your mobile site!

The Mobile Associate Retail Website was developed specifically for Android and iOS (iPhones, iPads and iPods) specifically because these are the most popular devices currently on the market. You can still call the site up with othermobile devices, but your results may vary.

Watch our video to get more details about the Mobile Associate Retail Website.

Isageek MS Tags at Celebration

Going to Celebration? If you are, and you follow the IsaGeeks, we set up something special for you: Codes you can scan, which will be all over the Convention Center.

Look for these codes sprinkled about the San Diego Convention Center

When you install Microsoft Tag reader on your mobile device, you can get special content we created just for Celebration. Go to gettag.mobi on your mobile device to install the scanner. When you have that, and you see these codes, give it a scan and see what we left for you.

We’re also giving out IsaGeeks business cards, which also have their own codes on the back. The neat thing here is we will be changing the content these business cards send you to regularly. So if you manage to get one, you’ll have a line on everything new we do.

Now – why are we so into these MS Tags? Because they’re something you can get in on as well. If you make your own business cards, you could put a code like this on the back of them as well – and give the people you hand them off to a direct line to your latest blog post, YouTube video, or whatever you think people will be into the most.
